Could healing mental trauma be the missing link to health and vitality? You can be spot on with your diet, and be physically active. You will appear “fit”, but when you’re carrying around mental trauma and blockages, chronic negative emotions like stress, depression and anger etc, these somewhat toxic emotions can manifest dis-ease in many different forms.
There is a lot of information out there about how to live the most healthy, anti-inflammatory life, how to reverse autoimmune diseases and everything related to inflammation – including asthma, eczema, psoriasis, IBS, Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, arthritis etc, and that’s what my award-winning program called The Inflammation Solution, helps people to achieve. (I also work one on one to support people in reaching their health goals.) The solution and the information is readily available.
What tends not to be addressed, is how to manage the emotional side of things. The idea of “toxic energy” in the body, is often too “woo woo” for many to understand – and I get it, I’m English. It’s only through being in LA for 3 years that I’ve delved deep into the energetic side of things and really got to understand the weird and wonderful world of energy and the importance of managing emotions. (In case you missed it, this podcast interview with Deepak Chopra and Tony Robbins on the Mind-Body connection is very worth a listen.) In fact, in the last few months, I’ve learned so much more about mental trauma, thanks to Anahita and some other healing work I’ve explored. We are not taught how to manage this side of things. We are not encouraged to manage stress and trauma in an effective way. You have to look for this information, hard. Doctors are not trained in it. Most psychologists and psychiatrists are not trained in it. Oncologists are not trained in it.
When people hear the word ‘trauma’ they often think of something really drastic that might happen to some people. What most people do not realise, is that if you’re a walking, talking, breathing human, over the age of 7, maybe earlier, you’re going to be carrying around mental trauma.
In this Mojo Fit podcast interview, Anahita Anais, Founder of Compass Protocol.com shares briefly how she healed her chronic pain of 3 years completely holistically after being advised by professionals to take ineffective and harmful medications including narcotic painkillers and anti-depressants. She then shares how she was inspired to go on her own journey of self-healing having healed her own chronic pain and how she retrained in Trauma Release Therapy to serve others in pain, stress and trauma management. This will blow your mind as she reveals the power of the mind-body connection…
