High Cholesterol ‘Does Not Cause Heart Disease’ – ABOUT TIME!!!

A few weeks ago it was revealed how cholesterol does not lead to heart disease. I wrote about this in my recent book, The Vitality Secret and also in Mojo Multiplier (that I wrote in 2012) having discovered the truth from real experts in nutrition, and not trusting governmental guidelines. About a month ago, it was revealed that a low carb diet ‘might help diabetes’ – this too, is not surprising given that it’s high GI carbs that trigger high amounts of insulin that over time, triggers insulin resistance and then Type-2 diabetes. Unfortunately, advice from leading authoritative sites is leading people down the path to ill health. It’s really shocking, and sad. And there’s a very clear reason for it which is too. The Truth About Cancer, episode one, revealed why the medical industry is shaped the way it is, that is to say, why doctors are not trained in nutrition and are trained only to prescribe pharmaceutical drugs. Check out my notes here.

Back to cholesterol. Cholesterol is an essential – absolutely critical – molecule for a number of bodily functions, namely sex hormone secretion and balancing, including testosterone. It’s also essential for cell health throughout the body. Statin drugs cut cholesterol – and stop other things in your body working too! So if high cholesterol (by the way, there are a number of forms of cholesterol) does not lead to heart disease, what is it that does? Atherosclerosis as a result of INFLAMMATION is one contributor to heart disease. And low testosterone and a lot of other health problems that arise the body. Did you know that Statin drugs which cut cholesterol, trigger erectile disfunction (ED)? It’s not surprising given cholesterol is a critical precursor molecule for testosterone production. Drug companies that make viagra and similar drugs also produce statins. It’s a typical pill for a pill society solution in which we live. Most, if not all, chronic illnesses and diseases can be managed or reversed with diet, physical activity and by managing emotions.

That is what my second book, The Vitality Secret, is all about. Simply put, if you follow the conventional “healthy diet” loaded with wheat (GMO’s to high heaven), cow’s milk and tons of carbs, toxins and no micronutrients – rest assured you’ll become inflamed. If you focus only on macronutrients (proteins, carbs and fats) – you’re missing a critical component of your diet, and this is what is making us all sick – a complete lack of micronutrients (vitamins and minerals). Add to that being inactive and allowing yourself to get stressed easily and you’re well on your way to becoming chronically inflamed.

It’s not cholesterol that’s the culprit, it’s our conventionally “healthy” Western diet and modern day lifestyles that is the culprit of inflammation and heart disease. Here’s what was presented in The Daily Telegraph (UK) a few weeks ago:

Cholesterol does not cause heart disease in the elderly and trying to reduce it with drugs like statins is a waste of time, an international group of experts has claimed.

A review of research involving nearly 70,000 people found there was no link between what has traditionally been considered “bad” cholesterol and the premature deaths of over 60-year-olds from cardiovascular disease.

Published in the BMJ Open journal, the new study found that 92 percent of people with a high cholesterol level lived longer.

……

Vascular and endovascular surgery expert Professor Sherif Sultan from the University of Ireland, who also worked on the study, said cholesterol is one of the “most vital” molecules in the body and prevents infection, cancer, muscle pain and other conditions in elderly people.

“Lowering cholesterol with medications for primary cardiovascular prevention in those aged over 60 is a total waste of time and resources, whereas altering your lifestyle is the single most important way to achieve a good quality of life,” he said.

Lead author Dr Uffe Ravnskov, a former associate professor of renal medicine at Lund University in Sweden, said there was “no reason” to lower high-LDL-cholesterol.

One of the messages I endeavour to get out to the world is that we must all become responsible for our own health and not allow ourselves to be conditioned by pharmaceutical companies, government and the media. Sadly, most doctors are not trained in nutrition so it’s up to us to get trained in nutrition. it only involves a book or two and you can completely change your belief and understanding around food and lifestyle. We spend more money on our cars than we do our own body. Cars are depreciating liabilities that can be replaced at any time. Our body cannot be replaced. We get one shot. We must get regular blood tests – micronutrients and macronutrients, hormones, a full inflammation panel, microbiome testing (gut health – all disease starts in the gut) etc. There are plenty more. What gets measured gets managed. If we don’t measure this stuff, disease will show up almost certainly.

Do you think it’s about time we invested in our health and not rely on our doctors?
