How To Have Younger Looking Skin By What You Put In Your Body

If you have skin, and a pair of hands, take a watch of this video. We all want better looking skin – man or woman. Believe it or not, what you put in your body, is the first way to have better skin.

This was my first cooking debut, which I did live with Coleen Janeway of Epithereal Skin Care in Venice, California. We met at a Christmas party in December and connected immediately when we had a common interest – inflammation. What a weird common ground I hear you say. Well, that’s what The Vitality Secret is all about, my latest book. Coleen works with celebrities and others who wish to have smooth, sexy, silky and young-looking skin. Man or woman, we all want good skin.

If you have any kind of skin condition, be it eczema, asthma, psoriasis, acne or any kind of dermatitis, it’ll be down to a degree of inflammation in your body. In simple terms, inflammation is your body’s reaction to what it perceives as an attack on it. It’s an immune system response to what it perceives as foreign invaders. Sadly, a lot of our diet is really not designed for human consumption and puts us into a constant inflammatory mode. This puts your immune system on overdrive and becomes suppressed. Hormones go out of balance and all sorts of trouble shows up – including poor skin. If you have psoriasis, this is an autoimmune disease where your immune system turns onto itself. It is fairly straight forward to reverse psoriasis by changing what you eat – see this video, in which I interviewed a friend who suffered from psoriasis for decades until he changed what he ate.

Inflammation has been dubbed ‘inflamma-ging’ due to the fact inflammation accelerates the aging process. This is a fact. And guess what, if you follow a conventionally healthy diet, you are more than likely already suffering from inflammation to a certain degree. There is a big difference between what is conventionally “healthy” and what is actually healthy. A great way to find out the truth is to stop watching the news! Here’s just one of many examples of how wrong the media is on health.

Take a watch of this video, and see how easy it is, to get a little creative in the kitchen and eat food which is not only anti-inflammatory, but also nourishing, cleansing, detoxifying, hormone-balancing and energy-enhancing. All of which, help your skin look infinitely better. We’ve all heard it. We are what we eat. The cleaner we eat, the stronger our mind, body and soul will be.
