The Healing Properties of Cannabis, Ayahuasca, LSD, MDMA & Magic Mushrooms

Last night I attended a talk in LA about the medicinal properties of what modern society refers to as dangerous drugs. Leading researchers presented on the healing properties of cannabis, ayahuasca, LSD, MDMA and Magic Mushrooms. As people become more aware of how pharmaceutical drugs are not helping people heal their bodies, they are turning to plant medicines for healing and “alternative medicine.” Pharmaceutical drugs have their place in certain conditions, particularly in emergencies, anaesthesia and with type-1 diabetes when your body does not produce insulin. (For Type-2 diabetes, they’re ineffective in healing the body and come with a myriad of side effects.) I’m personally finding it difficult to find an illness where they are effective in assisting the body to heal, rather than just cover up symptoms of the underlying root cause, which is chronic inflammation in almost every case. Plant medicines, however, actually HEAL the body.
