This is a really interesting episode in which Steve Soffer shares how he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and how he reduced his PSA reading from 8 to 3 in 3 months by changing what he was eating. Not only that, but his…let’s just say…bedroom skills…improved dramatically (as if he were 20 again at the age of 70), his hip and sciatic nerve problems went and he now plays basketball regularly again when he previously figured the pain and other symptoms were just part of ageing.
It’s even more interesting given the fact that his brother, a medical doctor, was also diagnosed with prostate cancer. He decided to have the risky surgery, which according to him was getting the cancer our of his body. This is a highly risky surgery that can lead to erectile dysfunction and incontinence.
This is highly valuable for men over 40, and women who know them, men soon to be 40 and anyone who knows them! We talk about our own personal definitions of cancer. When re reframe it like this, it’s something we no longer have to fear, and rather just understand it for what it is. In many cases, we can avoid the highly toxic conventional methods of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery.
